Burger shop_How do I made braille

During the project, creating braille is the hardest part because I don’t have the equipment, which can make braille. At this time, I used soft gel mediums for braille. It becomes transparent after it dries. The reason why I used syringe was that it could adjust the right amount of soft gel medium to form dot braille. These images are some of my process of making braille.

Before I made braille on paper, I printed yellow dot for guideline of braille placement.
First, I used black and grey but it weren’t suitable for guideline. They were too distinguishable. Therefore, I used yellow, which looks consistent with my branding.

Burger shop_Map

The purpose of this project is mainly for visual impaired people can get to the shop easily.

In the map, I only put braille for main places in Auckland City and around the location of burger shop (singed as number 10 in the map), I put logo. Yellow rectangle indicates that area can be zoomed by folding the map. For example, the map left side shows map for whole Auckland City. If you fold the map by half, it will show the area, which is in only yellow rectangle.
